Melissa joined StoreBoard seven years ago, bringing the perspective of media planner to the sales team. She covers both agencies and clients and has built relationships with advertisers ranging from pharma to consumer packaged goods to financial companies. As a former planner herself, she knows what her StoreBoard clients are looking for. A communications major, she started her career on the agency side and quickly rose to Media Planner at Mediaedge, learning the ropes of media planning on the GlaxoSmithKline pharmaceuticals account.

Two years later, her success on the Glaxo account led to an offer from the Carat agency to work as the Media Planner on Procter & Gamble’s baby care products. With pharma experience in hand, Melissa joined Carat to deepen her planning experience and to broaden her expertise in package goods. As her responsibilities grew, she found that one of the aspects she enjoyed most was her interaction with the clients and brand managers.

Her love of the business and direct contact with people, prompted Melissa to consider transitioning her role from buyer to seller. As luck would have it, her goal to move into sales became a reality when she was recruited by StoreBoard Media to join their sales team, shortly after its founding.

Melissa’s understanding of the needs of her clients combined with her media knowledge, professionalism and enthusiasm make her a pleasure to work with for both her clients and her team mates. Melissa lives in Manhattan with her husband Steve.
